Overview

Carrenza is one of the UK’s most innovative cloud computing service providers; focusing on digital transformation and incorporating DevOps practices into cloud service delivery.

Pioneering a new way of delivering cloud and application hosting services, they offer Public, Private and Hybrid cloud services, based out of their offices in central London.

The challenge

Carrenza recognised the value of creating innovative content to demonstrate the work they were doing and to share insights with their customers, but with a busy marketing schedule to contend with and lots of events planned each year, they needed extra support to help deliver against their content marketing objectives.

Carrenza wanted to continue to strengthen the voice they had developed through their company blog and worked with Contemsa to develop a range of regular articles to share insights from the Carrenza team.

The solution

Contemsa engaged with Carrenza to act as an extension to their content marketing team, which started by developing a content strategy for the next three months to understand the unique way that Carrenza took solutions to market, and to better understand how they engaged with their clients in order to accurately represent their voice through any content created.

We then interviewed key members of the Carrenza management team to gain their views on key topics across the industry, such as the GDPR and Rule 41 legislation, digital transformation in the Public Sector and cloud initiatives in the Financial Services industry.

From these interviews, we created a series of articles and associated Communications Plans so that once blogs were published, it was simple to promote on social media by creating suggested Twitter and LinkedIn posts for Carrenza staff to share.  Combining the Communications Plan with each blog made it easier for staff and the marketing team to share and promote the articles once published.

The outcome

Carrenza now has a regular stream of content for prospective clients to engage with; helping to build the foundations for further lead generation activities.  The content has been used to promote events around GDPR legislation and has been featured in external news sites, further extending the reach of the content.
